ALIGNMENT
► EVOLVING FROM TRADITIONAL CONICAL TAPERS THAT DISTORT YOUR ALIGNMENT
Traditional wooden carom shafts need a strong or conical taper in order to maintain the stiffness necessary to hit the heavier carom balls with extreme side and withstand all of the lateral forces that come with that impact. However, the conical taper causes the tip to move diagonally away from the bridge hand as you stroke, affecting the impact point of the tip on the ball and making precise aiming more difficult. The REVO 3C carom shafts are made of carbon composite, which is naturally much stiffer and stronger than wood. This allowed us to design a taper that is technically more precise to aim with.
► MODIFIED CONICAL TAPER FOR A CONSTANT ALIGNMENT
Both the REVO 3C-S and 3C-U have the same Modified Conical taper, which tapers up more slowly in the bridging area. REVO 3C's new taper design and its slower increase in the bridging area leverage the stiffness of the carbon materials to maintain constant cueing alignment throughout the practice strokes and impact. This improved geometry eliminates adjusting for the conical taper bias and gives your game more precision.
